It has blown me away, if you didnt take iphone seriously as a game platform now i the time to start! 10 missions, amazing graphics, and controls that work really well!

Second...

I did see that Modern Combat one..looks impressive.

How are the controls? Feedback on iTunes seems positive, but would like a first hand account.

Yeah, that battery life sucks, and people put up with it. I mean everyone gave the PSP grief for battery life, but the iphone can get away with it!!

I've bought a couple of games recently that I'm not too impressed with. I still can't forgive the thing for making me cover up the screen with my big fat thumbs!!!

I'd like to suggest that these games work better on the iPod touch as you don't have to worry about incoming calls / texts effecting your gaming

Might give it a better framerate if you go for these on a 3GS.
Amazing though really, those graphics would've easily passed for PS1.

Cool might try it out for 59p - too many puzzle games don't actually have any thinking involved at all.

There's a free version, nice little game flinging hairy little critters around, reminded me of a chu chu rocket kinda game.

I can highly recommend....

COD world at war: Zombies if your into shoot em ups, it's basically the zombie levels that you unlock in the full game, looks and plays brilliantly, but is costly at £5.99.

Ravensword for Oblivion style game, really good too, and costing £3.99.

Soosiz the best platformer on the iPod, makes Rolando look crap.

Dungeon Hunter for Diablo type gaming, excellent.

Gamebox 14 in 1, for value for money, 59p for 14 decent games, with constant update that adds new games (it was 12 in 1 last week)

Castle Frenzy, great little games of protect your castle thats a little different and £1.19 it's yours, Glyder is a great little fantasy flight sim, cool graphics and gameplay.
g

Canabalt is probably the most simple game yet highly addictive thing you'll play in years.

Kroll for fantastic graphics with retro hack n' slash gameplay.

Trace for simplistic graphic yet excellent gameplay.

and there's probably a fair few more I've got but can't remember.
